In addition to meeting the basic education requirement, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-03 pay band (GS-09 through GS-11 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience as a professional engineer or scientist applying computer engineering principles to design or develop software testing activities. Examples of qualifying experience may include: 1) skill in utilizing a combination of various object-oriented programming languages (C#, C++, Java, etc.); 2) ability to manage complex software development projects and/or lead technical teams; 3) advanced knowledge of engineering/scientific concepts and technology with the ability to adapt theory and/or good scientific practices.
